Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
Mobile networks- We keep the country connected through the survey, design, installation and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure.

What will you be doing?
- As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the commercial performance of assigned programmes, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual obligations.
- You will be responsible for preparing valuations and payment applications, managing contract administration, change control, Early Warnings and Compensation Events, and resolving commercial disputes.
- You will oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, valuations, payments and final accounts, while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- The role requires accurate cost management, forecasting, cashflow reporting, CVRs, and monitoring commercial risks and opportunities.
- You will maintain compliant commercial records and documentation, support operational teams with contractual guidance, and work closely with finance, procurement and delivery teams.
- Additionally, you will help drive commercial performance, protect margins, and support the growth of the mobile telecommunications division.
What you’ll bring?
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or a related discipline) with proven experience in construction, infrastructure, or telecoms environments.
- You will have a strong commercial track record, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and data analysis tools, are essential.
- Ideally, you will hold or be working towards RICH or CICES membership, have experience mentoring junior colleagues, and possess knowledge of FIDIC or JCT contracts, cost management systems, BIM platforms, sustainability principles, and professional development towards chartership.
