A leading data center builder/operator is looking to hire a Senior EHS Coordinator for a large-scale project in Brookwood, AL. You will work closely with GCs, operational leadership, the corporate team, and partners to effectively implement environmental & safety programs for a critical data center project.

Relocation Assistance is on offer for non-local candidates; however, this is a long-term position requiring residency in Brookwood, AL.

The Role:

• Lead and support EHS programs in construction and operational data center environments.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and surveys to verify compliance & alignment across trade partners.
• Act as a site-level SME, staying updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
• Coordinate + perform environmental monitoring for all media (waste, water, air, etc.).
• Responsible for Site Specific Safety Plans, JHAs, incident investigation, root cause analysis, safety logs, and weekly safety reports.
• Deliver trainings, orientations, safety meetings, and safety committee activities.
• Communicate effectively with contractors/trade partners, align expectations for safety programs/processes, and earn buy-in as a resource onsite.

The Candidate:

• A minimum of 7 years of proven EHS experience, preferably with experience as a safety leader on major construction projects: Advanced Manufacturing Projects, Semiconductor, Data Centers etc.
• Environmental/air permitting experience preferred; Title V experience highly competitive.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Quality or related discipline (preferred)
• BCSP Certification: CSP or CHST (preferred)
• A strong communicator who can engage with both key internal and external stakeholders
• Based near Brookwood, AL and happy to travel to the job-site daily (Relocation Assistance can be provided)
