Using the site as a jobseeker
Searching and applying is free and requires no account. An optional free account lets you save job alerts. You must give a valid email address you control, and you must not use the service to collect or redistribute listings in bulk.
Listings and their accuracy
Vacancies are supplied by the employers advertising them. We reproduce them in good faith but we do not verify individual claims about pay, hours or conditions, and we are not the employer. Your contract of employment, if any, is with the employer, not with us. If a listing looks fraudulent or misleading, report it and we will investigate and remove it where warranted.
Posting a job
Posting a vacancy is free. You must confirm your email address before a listing goes live, and we apply limits on how many listings one account may submit in a day. You warrant that you are entitled to advertise the role, that it is a genuine vacancy, and that the listing complies with applicable employment and equality law. We may reject or remove any listing at our discretion.
Premium placements
A Premium placement pins a listing to the top of its category and of matching search results, and costs £35 for each day purchased. Placement begins when payment clears and runs for the number of days bought. Premium listings are labelled as such wherever they appear. A limited number of Premium slots is shown on any one page, so pinning does not guarantee the first position where others are also pinned. If we remove a listing for breaching these terms, we refund the unused days.
Employer content
You keep ownership of what you post, and grant us a licence to display it on the site, in search engines and in alert emails for as long as the listing is live.
Liability
We provide the service as-is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for a vacancy being filled or withdrawn, or for the conduct of any employer or applicant. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
