Post a job for free

£35 per day, sponsored pin

Buy between 1 and 30 days for a job that is already live.

  • Held at the top of its category page
  • Held at the top of search results that match that category
  • Labelled Sponsored, because it is a paid advert
  • Runs day by day from the moment payment clears — extend it and the days add on
  • Priced per day, so a week is £245 and nothing renews on its own

Why posting is free

Several thousand new vacancies are added to the site every hour. Charging for each one made sense when a listing was scarce; it does not now. Your advert is published with the same structured data we attach to every job on the site, which makes it eligible to appear in Google's dedicated jobs results as well as in ordinary search. It appears on its category page, its city page and your company page, and it goes into the daily alert emails of every candidate whose filters it matches. None of that costs anything.

Because it is free and open, we confirm every submission by email before it appears. Post your job, click the link we send you, and it goes live. Until you click, nobody sees it.

What a sponsored pin does

A pin holds one live job at the top of two places: its category page, and the search results for queries that fall in that category. It does not change the job's content, its structured data or how it is treated anywhere else on the site — the homepage, city pages, company pages and alert emails all stay in strict date order, so a pin cannot buy its way into those.

No more than three pinned jobs are shown at the top of any list. If more than three have been bought for the same page, the three closest to expiry take the slots and the rest sit in their normal position until their turn comes. That cap is there so a paid pin never pushes the organic results off the first screen.

How long a pin lasts

Exactly the number of days you buy, counted from when your payment clears. Buy three days and it is pinned for three days, then it drops back into normal date order — the job itself stays live for its full 30 days either way. Nothing auto-renews and there is no subscription. If you buy more days while a pin is still running, the new days are added to the end rather than replacing what is left.

Every pin is labelled

A pinned job carries a visible “Sponsored” label on its card. That is not negotiable and it is not something we will remove for a fee: paid placement has to be distinguishable from an ordinary result, both under the CAP code and under Google's own guidance for job listings. The listing's structured data is identical to any other listing's.

What we do not charge for

There is no charge to candidates, ever. There is no application fee and no fee to see who applied — applicants go directly to your own application form or email address, so you keep the whole relationship.

Refunds

If a pinned listing is taken down during review, the unused days are refunded. If you fill the role while a pin is running, email us and we will refund the days you have not used.

Hiring for more than one role?

If you have several vacancies to advertise, or you advertise regularly, get in touch. We will talk through the best way to get your roles on the site and keep them up to date.
