The Role
Exciting opportunity for a Night Concierge based at our supported housing service, Newhaven Foyer.

At Salvation Army Homes, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality housing services, support, and resettlement for people who are experiencing, or have recently experienced, homelessness and are in need of support and accommodation.

As a night concierge you will be:

• Taking a relational approach in your role, building trust with residents and offering guidance to help ensure their safety, as well as the safety of the building.
• Acquiring and providing up to date and accurate information relating to clients and the service.
• Undertaking any necessary training/personal development identified by your Line Manager.
• Contributing to the Key Performance Indicators set for Self, Scheme, and the wider association.

• Have good knowledge or experience of working with homeless people, and / or supporting vulnerable people or groups.
• Understand, or be willing to learn about, community resources and organisations that can support our residents.

Working Arrangements

This role is based within the service, is a waking night position, and may involve lone working.
Please note that the on-call rota is shared among the team on a rolling four-week basis. On-call duties run from 8:00pm to 8:00am for overnight cover and from 8:00am to 8:00pm for daytime cover.
