Case Admin (AO)
Location: LA1 5NU (you must live close by to this location)
* Pay: £12.71 per hour
* Start: End of Dec / beginning of Jan
If you're organised, level-headed under pressure, and you enjoy supporting people through clear, efficient admin processes, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference. Our Client is hiring for a reputed client in a busy probation environment, offering full-time, office-based work across Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
What you'll be doing:
* Set up and maintain accurate offender and victim information on approved databases
* Support the administration of referrals and help keep relationships flowing between offender management, victims, interventions, service providers and external agencies
* Prepare, maintain and collate case records, files and management information to required standards
* Receive and distribute communications by telephone, email and paper, including providing reception/telephone cover
* Act as a single point of contact within the unit for specialist areas when needed
* Make practical arrangements for sentence plan implementation (appointments, directions and related activity)
* Carry out enforcement administration and provide cover for administrative needs across the team
* Arrange equipment/materials and report faulty items for replacement or repair
* Support meetings as required, including organising agendas and circulating notes/minutes/action points
* Maintain records where petty cash/vouchers/warrants for travel costs are issued (in line with local financial procedures)
* Ensure all work is handled appropriately given the sensitive/confidential nature of information and follow Health & Safety processes
