Temporary PA & EA Roles - Join the TSS pool

The University of Oxford Temporary Staffing Service is an internal recruitment service supplying University departments with temporary staff.

We are seeking candidates with Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant skills to join the pool of workers. You should be available to start work at short notice, or be approaching the end of another commitment.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate skills and experience in one or more of the following:

• Diary management for senior members of staff, making considered judgements to juggle demands placed on the schedule(s)

• Replying to a range of issues on behalf of the Manager/Director or researching and preparing information/drafting replies

• Organising meeting arrangements, including arranging appropriate catering for meetings held in the office and other venues as appropriate

• Travel arrangements, making complex travel arrangements for UK and International travel, including making arrangements for visas where necessary

• Preparing and circulating papers, agendas, minutes and draft briefing notes as appropriate

• Allocating ad hoc tasks to administrative staff and organising temporary cover as required

Assignments range in length and a mixture of working patterns will be available, accommodating those who require flexibility, or just enjoy variety.
