Trainee Housing Advisor

We're looking for someone who is passionate about helping people and wants to build a rewarding career in housing. You may already have experience working with customers or the public, or you may be looking to develop your skills in a role where you can make a genuine difference to people's lives every day.

You'll be a confident communicator who can listen, understand people's circumstances, and provide clear advice and support. You'll have excellent organisational skills, be comfortable working with a range of information and systems, and be able to make fair and balanced decisions. Most importantly, you'll approach every situation with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies, and wants to develop specialist knowledge in housing and allocations. In return, we'll support you to gain a professional housing qualification and provide opportunities to develop your skills and build a long-term career within the sector.

The post is offered on a Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.
