This role is a full time, permanent position of 37 hours per week. The work pattern is based on a rotational shift pattern between Tuesday and Friday. Weekend and Bank Holiday working may be required to meet operational and business needs. A full UK Class 2 driving licence is essential for this post.

Great Yarmouth Services Limited (GYS LTD) is a wholly owned trading company of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, established on 1 April 2023 to provide a range of frontline and commercial services on behalf of the Council.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Refuse Supervisor to join our Waste & Street Scene Department and play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality waste collection services across Great Yarmouth.

Reporting directly to the Refuse Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the Refuse service and supervising the team to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
