Job Title: Operations Assistant

Hours : 8am - 4pm M-F 35 hour week

Salary ; £28k pa

Job Summary

This is an exciting and varied role within our Production and Technical team, combining responsibilities across inventory control, production assembly, and pick and pack operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the manufacture, assembly, storage, and dispatch of our products, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency are maintained throughout the production process.

Key Tasks

Tasks to include (but not limited to):

Inventory Control

• Use Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Work Orders to complete production tasks and maintain accurate stock records within the inventory management system.
• Process and dispatch sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment.
• Update stock management systems to reflect inventory movements and production activities.

Production Assembly

• Assemble electrical and pneumatic components and complete systems in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Build and test sub-assemblies for stock items and customer orders.
• Ensure all assemblies meet company quality and safety requirements.

Pick and Pack

• Accurately pick sales orders using the Sage 200 management system.
• Package orders to a high standard, ensuring products are protected and ready for dispatch.
• Prepare shipments for collection and maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment.
