Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our organization in Goldsboro, United States. In this pivotal role, you will lead our recruitment initiatives, drive talent acquisition strategy, and mentor junior recruiting staff. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on recruiting expertise, demonstrating a decisive and empathetic approach to building high-performing teams across the organization.

• Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent for multiple departments and organizational levels
• Source, screen, and interview candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach
• Manage full-cycle recruitment processes from job requisition through candidate onboarding
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide strategic talent recommendations
• Lead and mentor junior recruiters, providing guidance on best practices, candidate assessment techniques, and professional development
• Maintain and optimize recruitment pipelines to ensure consistent flow of qualified candidates
• Analyze recruitment metrics and prepare reports on key performance indicators, time-to-fill, and cost-per-hire
• Customize job descriptions and recruitment materials to attract diverse talent pools
• Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams
• Stay current with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and emerging talent markets
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and organizational recruiting policies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional recruitment experience in a corporate environment
• 2+ years in a senior recruiting role or leadership capacity
• Proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment and candidate assessment
• Advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to analyze recruitment data and use insights to improve processes
• Experience mentoring and developing recruiting team members
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
• Detail-oriented approach to candidate screening and interview coordination
• Proficiency in employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies
• Negotiation skills and ability to close offers with candidates
• Preferred: Experience with diversity and inclusion recruitment initiatives
• Preferred: Knowledge of HR compliance and employment law requirements
• Preferred: Experience with recruitment process optimization and workflow automation
