Administration Officer
Location: Liverpool, Cheadle Avenue, L13
Working Hours/Pattern: Fully office-based role, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm (37 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Length of assignment: runs until 31/03/27, with possible extension

Our Client is looking for an organised, confident administrator to support an Enforcement team within the Probation Service.
What you'll be doing:
* Prepare, maintain and collate case records, files and management information to required standards and timescales
* Receive and distribute information and communications by phone, email and paper, using an appropriate approach
* Act as a single point of contact within the unit for specialist areas as required
* Support appointment and practical arrangements linked to implementation of the Sentence Plan
* Carry out enforcement administration, including issuing petty cash/vouchers/warrants for travel costs where needed (with records kept in line with local procedures)
* Support meetings as required (agenda, notes/minutes and action points)
What you'll bring:
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with experience using Excel
* Confidence liaising with senior colleagues and handling day-to-day queries professionally
* Strong all-round office skills, including accurate data handling and record keeping
* Ability to use databases and good keyboard/IT skills, with proficiency in MS Office Word and basic skills in Excel
* Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of people-including those who may be distressed or display inappropriate/aggressive behaviour
* The ability to work on your own initiative

Additional information:
You will need to complete security and identity checks prior to starting including HMPPS vetting which can take approximately 4-6 weeks
