We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Time and Recovery Navigator to join our team in West Yorkshire!

Salary: £29,264 - £33,510 per annum


Hours: Service runs between 8am -8pm / 1 weekend in 4 & 1 late shift per week

Our Non Custodial team in West Yorkshire is looking for a Support Time & Recovery Navigator to join our growing team and support service users within the community and custody to help them navigate through the criminal justice system.

Support Time & Recovery Navigators play a pivotal role in delivering safe patient care & supporting the service and service users.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Be part of an extended team working across Liaison & Diversion service
  • Liaise with a wide range of services such as the police, probation, courts and legal services as well as both inpatient and community health and social care services
  • Be involved in the daily support of children and adults, including those from hard-to-reach communities to engage and navigate through the Criminal Justice System
  • Support access to the full scope of identified health needs, including substance misuse (alcohol and drugs), mental and physical health, homelessness, learning disabilities, exploitation, safeguarding and social care issues

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience of working with service users, face to face, with a variety of health needs
  • Relevant experience working as/within Mental Health and/or Recovery support services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to gain appropriate level of consent
  • Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety
  • Motivated as an individual and when working in a team
  • Patient centered values and ability to promote service user involvement

Additional Information

Please note, this role requires flexibility and will include unsociable hours, such as evenings & weekends where applicable

A Driving Licence is desirable for this role
