- Support the implementation and integration of new practice policies, procedures and working processes, helping colleagues understand and adopt changes and escalating queries where further clarification is required.
- Identify issues affecting the smooth running of the branch and escalate these to the Operations Manager or appropriate member of the management team when necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager, including daily/weekly check-ins to provide updates on workload, staffing issues, outstanding tasks and any concerns arising at the branch.
- Support the Operations Manager with general administrative and reporting tasks across both the main surgery and branch site.
- Monitor general administrative workflows and highlight any recurring issues, bottlenecks or areas where additional support may be required.
- Provide practical support to colleagues within the branch and Mill Road Surgery, including assisting with workload where appropriate during busy periods.
- Support reception services and be prepared to cover the reception front desk when required, particularly during periods of staff absence or increased workload.
