FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work for our client within the financial sector. This is initially a 12 months contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Amsterdam.

Our client is seeking experienced Business Analysts and Requirements Engineers to support a strategic Transaction Reporting programme focused on evolving global regulatory requirements. Successful candidates will work across business, compliance, operations, and technology teams to analyse, define, and deliver regulatory reporting requirements through the Broadridge platform.

The programme covers a range of transaction reporting regulations, including European frameworks such as MiFID II (2026), EMIR (2027), and SFTR (2028), as well as US regulatory requirements under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale regulatory change initiatives within a complex financial services environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and regulatory requirements relating to transaction reporting obligations.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Operations, IT, and Regulatory Reporting teams to define functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into detailed business specifications, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support solution design, testing, implementation, and validation activities, leveraging the Broadridge transaction reporting platform.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops, gap analyses, impact assessments, and requirements reviews to ensure successful project delivery.
