Site Manager – Social Housing Refurbishment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a major social housing refurbishment programme in Birmingham.

This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of refurbishment works across occupied social housing properties.

The Role

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and successful delivery of refurbishment works.

• Oversee site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.

• Monitor progress, productivity and quality, ensuring agreed KPIs and programme targets are achieved.

• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure works meet project specifications, quality standards and relevant regulations.

• Coordinate materials, labour and subcontractors to ensure works progress without unnecessary delays.

• Identify and resolve site issues quickly, escalating more complex matters where required.

• Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety, quality and customer requirements.

• Ensure accurate records are maintained and support the wider team with programme and delivery information.

About You

• We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager / Senior Site Manager / Site Supervisor with a strong background in social housing refurbishment, planned works or property maintenance.
• You’ll ideally have experience working on kitchens & bathrooms, windows and doors, internal refurbishment, external works or wider planned investment programmes, particularly within occupied properties.
• You’ll be technically capable and confident managing multiple workstreams and subcontractors.
• You’ll also be comfortable dealing directly with residents and client representatives, with a strong focus on delivering a quality service from start to finish.
