FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Application Support (Equity Derivatives) to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a Fully Office based role that will be based in London.
Our client is looking for smart, proactive individuals who can demonstrate strong communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset. This is a hands on application support role within the Equity Derivatives business, offering exposure to trading systems and critical institutional workflows.

This is a hands on application support role within the Equity Derivatives business, offering exposure to trading systems and critical institutional workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical support for applications used by the Equity Derivatives business
- Monitor and maintain the health of critical systems, performing regular checks and proactive issue identification
- Manage and respond to production incidents, including escalation, root cause analysis, and resolution
- Handle change requests from development and infrastructure teams, including system and configuration updates
- Configure and maintain monitoring tools, and respond to system alerts in a timely manner
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation covering operational procedures and system configurations
- Support Business Continuity Planning activities, including participation in drills and testing
- Assist with IT security processes and audit requirements
- Contribute to or lead projects relating to:
- New system implementations
- Application upgrades
- Server deployments and environment improvements
