Creffield Medical Group in Colchester are looking to welcome a full-time PCN Pharmacy Technician on a 1 year fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will benefit from this opportunity to build up strong working relationships, across our organisation, and will be actively involved in how their role evolves over time.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing our prescribing systems to ensure safe, effective and efficient prescribing within the PCN;
  • Supporting the reception and administration teams, at our member practices, with complex medication queries;
  • Supporting the GP partners on prescribing projects and cost/safety audits and actions.
  • Managing patient prescriptions
  • Supporting medication reviews and reconciliations
  • Advising patients and healthcare professionals on medication-related queries
  • Developing our prescribing systems to ensure safe, effective and efficient
  • Supporting the reception and administration teams with complex medication queries
  • Supporting the GP partners on prescribing projects and cost/safety audits and actions
  • Minimising medication wastage
