SIA/CCTV Secruity Officer

Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire, OX44
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Shift: 4 days on, 4 days off, covering days and nights

We are recruiting an experienced Security Officer to maintain the safety and security of a busy, high-security site in Chalgrove. You will control access, patrol the premises, monitor security systems and respond professionally to incidents and emergencies.

The Role

• Control pedestrian and vehicle access to the site
• Check identification, verify credentials and issue visitor passes
• Escort visitors when required
• Conduct regular internal and external security patrols
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, radios and other security systems
• Carry out vehicle searches and security checks
• Respond to security incidents, alarms and emergencies
• Identify and report security, safety and fire risks
• Manage vehicle movement and parking across the site
• Maintain accurate daily logs and detailed incident reports
• Provide a professional and helpful first point of contact
• Communicate effectively with the Security Supervisor
• Occasionally travel between the Chalgrove and Denham sites when required

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role
• Valid frontline SIA licence
• SIA Door Supervisor licence
• SIA CCTV licence
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience operating CCTV, alarms and radio equipment
• Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
• Able to work a rotating day and night shift pattern
• Willing and able to obtain the required security clearance
• Professional, vigilant and dependable approach
