A global agribusiness committed to delivering innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions is seeking a French-speaking Finance Manager / Junior Finance Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or fully qualified finance professional looking to develop their career within an international organisation operating and expanding across Africa.

Working closely with the Senior Finance Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting accounting processes across multiple entities, and collaborating with finance teams across the company’s African subsidiaries.

After completion of a probationary period, travel to Africa will be required circa once a month for 3-5 days, typically to sites in Algeria, Ghana and Senegal, with all aspects of travel fully expensed. This role is paying up to £55,000 DOE plus very good benefits including 26 days holiday, private healthcare and an 8% employer pension contribution. The role is based onsite at the company offices in Bank, London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Finance Controller with financial reporting and day-to-day finance activities.
  • Analyse and reconcile accounting documents across multiple entities in Africa.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy and compliance of accounting records.
  • Review and oversee General Ledger (GL) transactions across multiple countries.
  • Communicate financial information effectively with non-financial operational teams.
  • Liaise with accountants across our African subsidiaries.
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified in a recognised accounting qualification.

Requirements:

  • French language skills are essential (written and spoken).
  • Minimum of 3 years' finance or accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across international teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally after probation.
