Fire Damper Engineer

Our client is a specialist Air & Water Company that is now recruiting for a Fire Damper Engineer in the Northwest.

Duties include:

• Carry out annual drop testing of fire damper units to BS9999 standards, and Fire Compartmental inspections.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and test fire dampers
• Complete Daily Service / Testing Reports whilst on site
• Carry out ventilation cleaning services to TR19 standards
• Document all work with photographic evidence.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and identify any faults or issues, ensuring that fire dampers are in proper working order.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Fire Damper Engineer
• Knowledge of BS9999 and relevant fire safety legislation
• Strong understanding of fire dampers, HVAC systems, and air control systems
• Experience in using fire safety inspection and reporting software
• CSCS card holder (essential).
• Full UK driving license
