Admissions Administrator – Bank Worker - Hybrid

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-focused Admissions Administrator to join our Admissions Team on a flexible bank basis, providing additional support during busy periods.

This is an important role at the heart of our school admissions process. You'll work closely with our Admissions Manager, Headteachers and Local Authorities, helping to ensure consultations and referrals for children and young people are managed quickly, accurately and professionally.

What you'll be doing

No 2 days will be quite the same, but your responsibilities will include:

• Working in our Admissions inbox and ensuring new Local Authority consultations and referrals are actioned promptly.
• Accurately recording consultations and keeping the admissions tracker and systems up to date.
• Sending consultations to the appropriate Headteachers for consideration.
• Proactively following up with Headteachers to ensure consultation responses are received within required timescales.
• Processing admission offers and communicating these professionally to Local Authorities.
• Following up with Local Authorities regarding outstanding offers, decisions and proposed start dates.
• Providing general administrative support to the Admissions Manager and wider Admissions Team.
• Handling confidential and sensitive information professionally and appropriately.
