Pre-Comm Engineer

Our client is a well-established building services and water treatment specialist, currently expanding their engineering team. They are looking to recruit Pre-Commissioning / Water Treatment Engineers at all levels, from junior engineers through to experienced professionals.

This is a field-based role working across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, delivering both pre-commissioning services and water hygiene works.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-commission cleaning, including flushing and chemical cleaning of closed systems
• Perform water hygiene duties such as:
• TMV servicing
• Tank cleaning and disinfection
• Calorifier inspections
• Ensure all works are completed in line with:
• BSRIA guidelines
• ACOP L8 & HSG274
• Maintain high standards of health & safety on-site and in vehicles
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation

Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year experience in water treatment, pre-commissioning, or building services
• Experience with:
• Conventional flushing
• CPC filtration systems
• Knowledge of:
• BSRIA BG29 / BG50
• ACOP L8 & HSG274
• Legionella Risk Assessor qualification (desirable)
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Strong awareness of health & safety
• Full UK driving licence

Salary & Package

• £28,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
