Reporting to the Head of Ticketing, our Hospitality & Group Ticketing Coordinator will be responsible for leading the growth and development of the club's matchday hospitality and group ticketing offering. Based at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, you will have previous Telesales/Phone-based sales experience, and be responsible for the following key areas:
Matchday hospitality: Selling and delivering a service to customers within our Corporate lounges and boxes from Private bookings to Commercial. This will include both incoming enquiries and active outbound activity.
Group Ticketing: Working to gain volume non-hospitality ticket sales to groups of 10 and over (where appropriate discounted), from community groups, sports clubs, schools and the education sector, public services (NHS, Armed Forces, charities).
Key Accountabilities:
- To meet and exceed individual & team new business revenue goals
- To be a highly visible presence on matchdays and the main point of contact for hospitality and Group Ticketing customers
- To work with the ticketing team to handle general matchday hospitality and group ticketing administration
- To work closely on a matchday with all departments including Catering and Commercial staff to deliver an excellent hospitality experience
- To implement a post-match communications channel with attendees to gain feedback and upsell further opportunities.
- To build strong relationships with customers for Hospitality and Group Ticketing sales and clients through outbound activity including phone calls, emails, meetings and other touchpoints
- To make Outbound sales calls to drive prospects and sales
- To effectively communicate all team happenings, events, and available inventory
- To be proactive and proudly represent Reading Football Club. Be prepared to handle inquiries and customer relationships from first meeting to regular ongoing interaction
- To work closely with other internal stakeholders to identify upsale opportunities
- To shape and lead a hospitality events calendar to ultimately increase the volume of Reading FC hospitality activity on non-matchdays.
- To work with the catering team to create a best-in-class hospitality environment, be open to change and be brave to try new ideas
- To carry out any other tasks as directed by your line manager
