Position: Door Supervisor: Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Hourly Rate: £14.80 plus holiday pay (FGH Group operates a holiday accrual scheme in line with the government guidelines at 12.07%)

Location: Hyde Park, London

Fixed Term Contract: ending 05/01/2027

We are looking for new team members who champion our values to join our team Keeping People Safe at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.

Winter Wonderland will open to the public on the 19th of November with a variety of attractions, activities, entertainment, food, drinks and so much more.

Regular Tasks:

• Proactive and approachable customer service.
• Controlling access points for all site visitors and site perimeter patrolling.
• Gate management including physical body and bag searches, supporting the crowd management team in managing ticket validation and wayfinding.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour/take appropriate action, being vigilant and conscious of any potential threat to the safe and smooth running of the event.
• Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches, and patrols.
• Responding to incidents.
• Maintaining order.
• Protection of assets and prevention of losses.
• Collaborating with and supporting the crowd management team in their mission to ensure crowd safety plans are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Valid SIA Door Supervision Licence.
• L2 Spectator Safety (preferred).
• Experience in event security.
• Passion for keeping people safe.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence working in busy, high-energy environments.
• Ability to de-escalate a tense situation.
• Knowledgeable about best practices for safeguarding vulnerable individuals and groups.
• Good understanding of crowd management operations.
• Comfortable working outdoors in winter.

During Screening, you must be able to provide evidence of 5 year employment/education history and references in a timely manner upon request.
