FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking Power Platform Developers to work with our global systems integrator client on a major Central Government Service Transformation Programme. This initiative forms part of a core-funded Service Transformation Portfolio, focused on improving operational efficiency, increasing productivity, reducing costs, and accelerating the digitisation of critical business processes.

As part of a significant programme expansion, we are seeking experienced Power Platform Developers to join multidisciplinary delivery pods responsible for designing, building, and deploying innovative low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, GOV.UK services, and no-code/low-code forms technologies. This is an initial assignment running through to March 2027, with strong potential for extension as additional discovery activity and delivery workstreams are onboarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies
  • Building Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps to support operational transformation initiatives
  • Developing automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate
  • Creating integrations between Power Platform solutions, Dataverse, and wider enterprise data sources
  • Collaborating with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Supporting solution design activities including workflows, process mapping, and user journeys
  • Working within multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams to deliver iterative enhancements and new capabilities
  • Ensuring solutions comply with governance, security, accessibility, and quality standards
  • Supporting testing, deployment, defect resolution, and post-release activities
  • Producing and maintaining technical documentation and development artefacts
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities for further automation
  • Providing technical input into solution design discussions alongside Architects and Technical Assurance teams
