Food Production Operative

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced Food Production & Packing Operatives for our client based in Wigston, Leicester.

Working in a clean and well-maintained food production environment, you'll be involved in producting and packing baked goods, with opportunities to work across different departments.

The Role

• Working across various food production departments, including the oven and baking department.

• Packing baked products and placing items onto trays.

• Moving trolleys and carrying out general warehouse duties.

• Some manual handling, depending on the department.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and working safely.

Shift Patterns & Pay

The shifts here are 12 hour shifts working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern - 6pm-6am

Pay: £14.87 per hour

About You

• Previous food production or food packing experience is desirable.

• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.

• Reliable, hardworking and happy to work across different departments.

• Able to travel to and from Wigston for 6pm starts and 6am finishes, as public transport is limited at these times.
