FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Procurement Programme Lead to work for our client within the Energy sector. This is initially a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the London office.

Our client is seeking an experienced procurement transformation professional to lead a strategic Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) assets transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a single, integrated programme that aligns operating model design, asset demand forecasting, scheduling, planning and utilisation data to drive significant cost savings across global third party spend whilst maintaining safe, reliable and efficient business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of a global GNFR assets transformation programme focused on cost optimisation and operational efficiency
  • Develop an integrated operating model covering asset demand forecasting, planning, scheduling and utilisation management
  • Identify and deliver sustainable cost savings across labour and asset based spend categories
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across procurement, operations, supply chain and finance functions to align programme objectives
  • Establish governance, reporting and performance metrics to monitor programme delivery and value realisation
  • Drive change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new ways of working across the organisation
  • Utilise procurement and operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement and spend optimisation
  • Present recommendations and programme progress updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Manage programme risks, dependencies and delivery milestones to ensure successful outcomes
