Our client is responsible for delivering water hygiene and water treatment services across a varied client base, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with regulatory and legislative requirements. Working both independently and as part of a team, providing excellent customer service while maintaining compliance and best practice across all sites. They are now looking to recruit a Water Treatment Engineer to cover work predominately in Hampshire / Sussex regions

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out water hygiene and water treatment works safely and to a high standard
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent the business professionally
• Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure clear communication on work progress

Water Hygiene & Treatment Tasks:
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Shower cleans and descaling
• Tank inspections, cleans, and disinfections
• TMV servicing and maintenance
• Water softener installations and servicing
• Closed system testing, sampling, and remedial works
• Plant and equipment installations
• Calorifier inspections
• External mains chlorinations

• Complete accurate reports using electronic systems and submit in a timely manner

Additional Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
• Use equipment and PPE correctly and safely
• Maintain company vehicle and carry out regular safety checks
• Carry out any other duties commensurate with the role

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the water treatment industry
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, water regulations, and relevant standards
• Experience working independently, including in confined or elevated spaces
• Experience completing electronic reports and documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify issues, problem solve, and work proactively
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence with ability to travel

Basic Salary £28K - £34K
