Role Purpose

To support the effective day-to-day operation of the retail store by leading and developing staff, delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining high standards of merchandising and stock control and helping to achieve sales and operational targets. The roles ensures the store runs efficiently, safely, and in line with company policies, while acting as a key point of support to the Store Manager and taking responsibility for the store in their absence.

Main areas of responsibility

  • Available to work match and event days including evenings and weekends.
  • Supervise the day-to-day running of the store.
  • Lead and motivate the retail team.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Monitor staff performance.
  • Assist with recruitment, induction and training.
  • Work with the Store Manager to manage rotas and staffing levels.
  • Maintain merchandising standards.
  • Process deliveries and manage stock.
  • Conduct stock counts and audits.
  • Handle cashing-up and banking procedures.
  • Support achievement of sales targets.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Provide customer feedback in relation to products and ranges.
