We're recruiting an Audit Semi Senior for a growing accountancy practice in Solihull.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with UK practice experience who is looking to progress their audit career.

You'll gain hands-on experience across audit planning, fieldwork, testing and statutory accounts, working with a varied client portfolio and developing your technical and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, execution and completion of statutory audits
• Carry out audit fieldwork, including controls testing, substantive testing and analytical review
• Prepare high-quality audit working papers and files
• Build strong relationships with clients throughout the audit process
• Work closely with Audit Seniors and Managers
• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Manage multiple audit assignments and meet deadlines
• Ensure audits comply with relevant standards and firm procedures

About You

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
• Previous UK accountancy practice experience
• Experience in audit and assurance
• Good understanding of statutory audit procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Confident communicator with good client-facing skills
• Able to manage multiple deadlines
• Professional, proactive and keen to progress your career
