ServiceNow Engineer- London, Bristol or Edinburgh

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a experienced ServiceNow Engineer to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6-12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in either London, Bristol or Edinburgh.

Our client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to support a critical CMDB transformation programme. The project has aggressive timelines, with a target to significantly enhance CMDB accuracy, Discovery coverage, and Service Mapping capabilities over the next three months.

The successful consultants will play a key role in designing, configuring, and optimising ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping across complex on-premise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of a large-scale ServiceNow CMDB Improvement Programme.
• Configure, administer and optimise ServiceNow Discovery capabilities.
• Develop and maintain custom Discovery patterns.
• Design and implement Service Mapping solutions across business-critical services.
• Create and maintain integrations using Graph APIs and other API technologies.
• Ensure accurate population and maintenance of the CMDB.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve Discovery and Service Mapping issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and application teams to improve asset and service visibility.
• Support cloud resource discovery and mapping activities across enterprise environments.
• Contribute to CMDB governance, data quality and platform best practices.
