Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager

Our client is an established Water Treatment company providing a comprehensive range of water treatment services and management programmes across commercial and industrial environments.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of clients predominantly based within the City of London.

This is a technically focused account management and sales position, combining the management and growth of existing accounts with new business development. The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of industrial Water Treatment, particularly closed systems, cooling towers and steam boilers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an established portfolio of Water Treatment accounts across the City of London
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing clients
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within existing accounts
• Develop and win new Water Treatment business
• Carry out regular client meetings and site visits
• Undertake water analysis and provide technical advice across:
  • Closed Loop Systems
  • Cooling Towers
  • Steam Boilers
• Review treatment programmes and system performance
• Provide clients with technical recommendations and appropriate treatment solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals and contract renewals
• Identify additional Water Treatment and Water Hygiene opportunities
• Work closely with service engineers and operational teams to ensure a high standard of service delivery
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and develop new client relationships
• Ensure clients receive a professional, technically competent and commercially focused service

Essential Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience within the Water Treatment industry
• Strong technical background within industrial Water Treatment
• Previous Account Management experience within the Water Treatment sector
• Experience with closed systems, cooling towers and steam boiler water treatment
• Good understanding of Water Treatment chemistry and analytical testing
• Proven ability to develop and grow existing customer accounts
• Commercially focused with the ability to identify and win new business
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Relevant Science or Chemistry degree
• Full UK Driving Licence

• Basic Salary: £45,000

Location

The role will predominantly cover clients within the City of London, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to manage a concentrated client portfolio without extensive national travel.
