Experienced Vehicle Technician – Independent Garage

Location: North London
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6:00pm + 3 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am–2:00pm

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a role where your skills are genuinely valued?

Our client is a well-established independent garage in North London, with an excellent reputation and a loyal customer base built over almost four decades.

They are now looking for an experienced, fully competent Vehicle Technician to join their established team.

This is not just a servicing role. The ideal candidate will be confident working across a wide range of mechanical repairs, diagnostics and more complex jobs, with the ability to take a vehicle from diagnosis through to repair.

About You

We're looking for a Technician who:

• Has at least 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Is fully qualified and technically competent
• Has strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Can carry out servicing and routine maintenance
• Is confident undertaking more complex mechanical repairs
• Has experience working across a variety of makes and models
• Can work independently and take pride in the quality of their work
• Is ideally from an independent garage or main dealer background
• Wants to be part of a stable, experienced team

You don't need to be limited to one particular manufacturer. What matters is that you're a genuinely capable Technician who can deal with the variety of work that comes through a busy independent garage.
