FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Power Platform Developer (Mid-Senior) to work for our client within the Public Sector sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in multiple UK locations

Our client is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Canvas Apps and Power Automate to support the development, enhancement and governance of their enterprise Power Platform estate. This role will focus on building robust, scalable business applications, improving platform maturity, and driving best practice across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing governance standards, supporting Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and contributing to the evolution of the organisation's Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE). The primary focus is on Canvas Apps and Power Automate, with wider Power Platform experience viewed as beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade Canvas Apps using Power Fx and Power Platform best practices.
  • Identify and resolve application performance, delegation and concurrency issues within Canvas Apps.
  • Develop, support and optimise Power Automate cloud flows to streamline business processes.
  • Support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including solution deployments, environment management and release processes.
  • Contribute to Power Platform governance, standards and Centre of Excellence initiatives.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Promote platform best practices, documentation standards and continuous improvement across the Power Platform estate.
