We're recruiting an Audit Senior for a growing accountancy practice in Halesowen.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified accountant with UK practice experience who is looking to take the next step in their audit career.

You'll work across a varied portfolio of clients, supporting audits from planning through to completion while developing your technical, client management and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Carry out audit fieldwork, testing and analytical review
• Ensure audit work meets professional and regulatory standards
• Review elements of junior team members' work and provide support and guidance
• Assist with identifying audit risks, findings and recommendations
• Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
• Work collaboratively with tax, accounts and other service lines
• Manage your workload and meet audit deadlines
• Continue developing technical knowledge across UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS

About You

• ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing completion
• Previous UK accountancy practice experience
• Strong audit and accounts experience
• Good understanding of audit procedures, risk and controls
• Knowledge of FRS 102 and/or IFRS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Confident supporting and mentoring junior staff
• CaseWare and CCH experience advantageous
• Professional, organised and keen to progress
