Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager

Our client, a leading provider of water treatment solutions, is looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager to cover the Yorkshire region.

This is a field-based role focused on managing an established client base while driving new business growth. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality technical service alongside developing long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of water treatment accounts (approx. 60% of role)
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region (approx. 40%)
• Carry out on-site water analysis including:
• Closed systems
• Cooling towers
• Steam boilers
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to improve system efficiency and compliance
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the water treatment industry
• Strong technical knowledge of:
• Cooling towers
• Steam boilers
• Closed loop systems
• Proven experience in account management and/or technical sales
• Relevant science or chemistry qualification (desirable)
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage workload independently
• Full UK driving licence

Salary & Package

• Basic salary: £35K – £50K
• Excellent commission structure (OTE £60K+)
