We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our team at our Aggregate Recycling Operation in Hithermoor, Staines.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the safe, efficient and productive operation of the site. Leading a team of mobile plant operators, you will help ensure the production of high-quality recycled aggregates while maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance and operational performance.
This is a hands-on role suited to an individual who leads by example, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is committed to driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the operation.
About Your Role
- Support the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the recycling facility.
- Promote and uphold Brett's SHEQ standards, policies and procedures.
- Lead, motivate and supervise site personnel to achieve operational targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with current legislation and company objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and add value to site operations.
- Act as a key point of contact for inbound and outbound material suppliers and customers.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the effective operation, maintenance and utilisation of mobile plant and equipment.
- Ensure housekeeping, operational and environmental standards are maintained at all times.
We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating heavy mobile plant within the aggregates, recycling, quarrying or related industries.
- Proven experience supervising or leading operational teams in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of SHEQ principles and a commitment to maintaining safe working practices.
- Experience operating and maintaining heavy plant and equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with colleagues, customers and contractors.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A QCF/NVQ in Mobile Plant Operations, or a willingness to work towards achieving this qualification.
- Experience operating a 20T+ excavator would be advantageous.
