Our client, a specialist in Legionella Control and Water Hygiene, is looking to recruit an experienced Remedial Plumber to cover the North West region.

This is a field-based role focused on delivering remedial plumbing works and water hygiene compliance tasks across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Remedial & Plumbing Works:
  • Carry out dead leg removals and pipework modifications
  • Install, service, and replace TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves)
  • Conduct tank replacements and modifications
  • Install and replace water heaters and calorifiers
  • Perform general plumbing remedial works in line with compliance standards

Water Hygiene Duties:

  • Assist with cleaning and disinfection of water systems
  • Support tank inspections and maintenance
  • Carry out basic temperature monitoring and water sampling when required
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with:
  • ACOP L8
  • HSG274 guidelines
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation via digital systems

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in remedial plumbing within the water hygiene sector
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • TMV servicing and installations
  • Dead leg removal
  • Water system compliance
  • NVQ / City & Guilds in Plumbing (or equivalent)
  • Good understanding of Legionella control regulations (L8)
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Full UK driving licence
