Bid Writer – Social Housing 3-Month FTC

Our client, an established contractor within the social housing sector, is looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join the business on a three-month fixed-term contract.

Salary: £45,000 per annum, pro rata

You will produce compelling responses for PQQs and ITTs, develop case studies, maintain the bid content library and collaborate with operational teams to deliver high-quality submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Write persuasive responses for PQQs, ITTs and case studies

• Manage multiple submissions and competing deadlines

• Maintain and improve the bid content library

• Ensure consistency across brand messaging and tone of voice

• Work with operational teams to gather technical information

• Support wider business development and growth objectives

What We’re Looking For

• Previous bid writing experience within construction or social housing

• Excellent written communication, grammar and attention to detail

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines

• Effective stakeholder management and teamwork skills

• Competent IT and Microsoft Office skills

• A self-motivated, adaptable and independent approach

Desirable

• Degree or equivalent qualification

• APMP Foundation certification
