FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Enterprise Agile Coach/Process Coach to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6-12 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Edinburgh.
The Process Coach would be an experienced Agile practitioner who partners directly with CIO delivery teams to embed effective delivery practices, accelerate adoption of new ways of working, and drive continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.
Acting as an embedded coach, the Enterprise Agile Coach supports delivery teams in adopting agreed processes, tools, frameworks, and governance standards, helping teams improve delivery outcomes, remove barriers to adoption, and build sustainable capability across the organisation.
While this role will support the adoption of AI-enabled delivery practices and the Alpha AI SDLC framework, we are not seeking an AI specialist. Instead, we are looking for individuals who are curious about emerging technologies, enthusiastic about learning, and keen to help teams leverage new tools and approaches to improve delivery performance.
We are seeking experienced practitioners with backgrounds such as:
- Senior Scrum Master
- Agile Practice Lead
- Agile Coach
Responsibilities
- Coach delivery teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and engineering practitioners in the effective application of delivery frameworks, processes, and ways of working.
- Support CIO engagement leads and transformation owners in planning and executing process adoption and continuous improvement activities.
- Facilitate onboarding of teams onto delivery frameworks, portals, workflows, governance controls, and supporting guidance.
- Monitor adoption, engagement, and maturity metrics, identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and value realisation.
- Establish baseline delivery measures and help teams track progress against agreed performance and adoption outcomes.
- Work with local champions, change agents, and delivery leaders to embed sustainable delivery behaviours and practices.
- Identify barriers to adoption and partner with stakeholders to implement improvements and remove impediments.
- Capture lessons learned, feedback, and emerging requirements to inform future process and framework enhancements.
- Establish and support Communities of Practice, coaching networks, and knowledge-sharing forums across CIO delivery teams.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and learning across delivery organisations.
- Help teams understand and adopt AI-assisted delivery practices where appropriate, supporting the evolution of modern software delivery capabilities.
Applications are handled by FDM Group directly. JobLot never asks candidates for payment.
