AI Engineer

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an AI Engineer to work for our client within the financial services sector. This is initially a 12-months contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Krakow.

Our client is seeking an AI Engineer to join a growing team, that is focused on delivering world-class Generative AI experiences to colleagues and clients in an ethical and responsible manner. As part of the expansion of the Data Integration function, you will play a key role in enabling Generative AI solutions to access and utilize data from a wide range of enterprise systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives, build scalable data pipelines, develop microservices, and contribute to innovative AI-powered solutions that drive business value and enhance decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions that enable Generative AI agents to access data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Build and optimize scalable data transfer pipelines to support AI-driven applications and analytics.
• Develop microservices using Python and FastAPI that integrate with broader Generative AI platforms and services.
  
• Implement and support RAG architectures, memory stores, and context engineering frameworks to enhance AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of data integration services and AI data platforms.
