We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Navigator - 18 month contract to join our primary care team with a focus on Early Days in Custody, at HMP Winchester, a category B Prison located in central Winchester.

HMP Winchester is a Category B Local remand prison located in Central Winchester accommodating approximately 670 male prisoners.

There is onsite parking for all staff and it is a short walk from Winchester train station.

You will add significant value to the experience of the prisoner, prison staff and to reducing the risk of self-harm and suicide alongside wider impacts on families. This role will provide reassurance, guidance and signposting to health and social care services that will contribute to minimising distress and risk.

Hours

37.5 hours a week working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. No weekends.

Salary

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of £33,000 per annum - depending on experience.
