Client Account Services Senior Analyst- Wrexham

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Client Account Services Senior Analyst to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in Wrexham.

Our client is seeking a Client Account Services Senior Analyst to support key new member onboarding and client account lifecycle activity. The role will involve guiding applicants through risk and legal assessment phases, supporting AML and KYC validations, maintaining accurate client account data, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. This is a client-facing opportunity suited to someone who can operate confidently in a fast-paced financial services environment while maintaining strong attention to detail, risk awareness and high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new client accounts by managing required risk, legal and operational documentation.
• Act as a professional point of contact for applicants and clients, responding to queries through appropriate communication channels.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure onboarding and account lifecycle activities are completed efficiently and in line with stakeholder expectations.
• Maintain, update and manage client account data accurately within internal systems.
• Perform AML and KYC validations to support new onboardings, account changes and periodic refresh activity.
• Compile reports for internal stakeholders, senior leadership, auditors and regulators.
• Support account lifecycle events including account additions, mergers and acquisitions, retirements and related client service activities.
• Identify operational, process and control risks, escalating issues appropriately and contributing to continuous improvement.
