Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join our team in London, United Kingdom. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organisation's financial decision-making processes through in-depth analysis and reporting.

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic business decisions
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including monthly and quarterly statements
• Develop and update financial models to forecast future performance and cash flow
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with various departments
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
• Support the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial information
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required
• Perform variance analysis to identify and explain deviations from budgets and forecasts
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and support external audit processes
• Conduct industry and competitor analysis to provide insights for strategic planning
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key financial metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in finance or a related role
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis and modelling techniques
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation tools
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Proactive approach to work with a goal-oriented mindset
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or progress towards CFA is desirable
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK as required
