We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Hewell, a category B remand prison based in Redditch, Worcestershire. HMP Hewell has a fast paced healthcare environment delivering care to males aged 21+, with a range of needs including substance misuse and long term conditions.

This position will be focused on receptions, supporting the new intake of patients. Within this role, you will be working closely with our senior nurses to deliver first-night prescribing, discharge prescribing, urgent follow-ups for duty doctor, and substance misuse prescribing.

Sessions are available on:

• Wed/Thurs/Fri: 17:30 - 21:30
• Sat: 13:00 - 17:00 or 14:00 - 18:00

Salary

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £125,468 per annum FTE depending on experience.

+ Golden hello payment of £3,500 (pro rata for part-time), paid in instalments over 24 month period.
