Stables Maintenance Assistant (Casual)
Key Responsibilities:
To carry out basic repairs within the Stables buildings and surrounding facilities.
To carry out basic repairs within the Stables buildings and surrounding facilities.
To undertake basic carpentry, plumbing and painting as required.
To use and maintain basic hand-held tools and equipment.
To monitor and maintain stocks of basic maintenance equipment and materials.
To carry out general gardening duties as required.
To maintain lawns, borders and surrounding outdoor areas.
To assist with planting, pruning, weeding and watering.
To prepare and maintain soil, including digging, mulching and fertilising.
To use and maintain basic gardening tools and equipment.
To report equipment faults and major repair requirements to the Stables Manager.
Knowledge and Skills:
Previous experience working in basic maintenance.
Clean driving licence.
Physically fit
An interest in horses (desirable)
