We're recruiting an Accounts Semi Senior for a growing accountancy practice in Uttoxeter. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Semi Senior looking to develop their technical skills, take on more client responsibility and progress their career within practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
• Prepare management accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Prepare and review VAT returns
• Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain accurate records
• Build strong client relationships and become a trusted point of contact
• Assist with advisory work and provide financial insights
• Review work and support junior team members
• Manage workloads, budgets and deadlines effectively
• Ensure work is accurate and delivered to a high standard

About You

• Studying AAT, ACCA or ACA
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Experience preparing accounts and tax returns
• Good knowledge of VAT and UK accounting principles
• Professional and organised approach
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive and keen to progress your accountancy career
