Quantity Surveyor – Planned Maintenance

Join an established Property Services contractor delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment and social housing projects.

An opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team, working on programmes that improve and maintain existing housing stock across London.

Job Description

• Managing the commercial delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across London’s social housing sector.

• Preparing cost forecasts, CVRs, valuations, variations and final accounts.

• Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and commercial performance.

• Working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors to maintain project profitability.

• Monitoring budgets, identifying commercial risks and maximising cost efficiencies throughout project delivery.

Skills / Qualifications

• Previous Property Services experience within a main contractor, particularly planned maintenance, social housing or housing refurbishment.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor managing construction or maintenance contracts.

• Strong understanding of planned works, including kitchens and bathrooms, external works, roofing, windows or wider refurbishment programmes.

• Experience with cost reporting, valuations, variations, subcontractor management and final accounts.

• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with site teams and clients across London.
