Search Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Site Cleaner for a commercial construction development in Hebburn. Offering flexible morning or afternoon shifts totalling 2 hours per day (Monday to Friday), this role is ideal for local operatives seeking steady daily hours to supplement their routine or balance other commitments.

Whether you prefer straightforward PAYE Direct (£12.71/hr + accrued holiday pay) or an Umbrella option (£16.71/hr), this position provides dependable weekly pay with a trusted agency.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Working independently on-site, you will be responsible for maintaining pristine hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards across welfare facilities and site office blocks:

• Office & Welfare Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting site offices, meeting rooms, canteens, and drying rooms daily.

• Sanitation & Sanitizing: Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting toilet facilities, washbasins, handles, turnstiles, and high-touch surface points.

• Canteen Maintenance: Cleaning food prep areas, wiping down tables, microwave interiors, sinks, and seating.

• Waste Disposal: Emptying office and welfare bins, replacing liners, and transferring refuse to designated site skip zones.

• Stock Monitoring: Keeping track of cleaning chemicals, paper towels, hand soaps, and toilet rolls, notifying site management when replenishment is needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

To satisfy site entry and standards, all applicants must possess:

• Cleaning Experience: Proven background in commercial, industrial, office, or site welfare cleaning (strictly required).

• CSCS Card: A CSCS card is beneficial, but not strictly mandatory for welfare-only cleaning roles depending on site access routes.

• PPE: Standard safety boots and high-vis vest/jacket (additional PPE provided where required).

• Reliability: Punctual, trustworthy, and capable of working efficiently without constant supervision.

• Location: Local to Hebburn or with reliable transport to commute daily (easy access via Tyne and Wear Metro / local bus routes).

• Right to Work: Valid proof of right to work in the UK.
